Ryan leads the teams financial planning initiatives. His approach presents a framework that accounts for clients' goals and values, and runs models real-time to help determine whether they are on track to achieving them. His expertise promotes a comprehensive approach to clients’ wealth accounting for taxes, estate planning and in many cases philanthropy.
Having joined Baird in 2007, he has worked in a multitude of roles and brings a versatile skillset to the team. He graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Marketing, and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Certification in 2009.
He is active in several organizations. Ryan has current or previous roles as the President of the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota, a board member for the Hennepin Healthcare Foundation and a committee member for Cristo Rey - Twins Cities. He is passionate about financial literacy and to that end teaches several financial classes locally. He lives in Edina, MN with his wife Erin, two sons Ezra and Ames, and dogs Rizzo and Rocky. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his kids sports, running with Rizzo and his running group and performing in a community theatre with his son.
