Jerry's Parting Words

Gerald Brennan, CIMA®

Former Director of the Brennan Jandric Antkowiak Group

Well known for his words of wisdom, Jerry imparts clients with gratitude and affirms his faith in the succession team: the Jandric Antkowiak Group.

Dear client:

As you may already know, I will be retiring from Baird at the end of December this year. I am excited about this new chapter in my life; much to learn, many people to help and places to serve.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with high-integrity professionals who cared for my clients and challenged me to be better on a daily basis. I have been with firms whose leadership inspired me, from Bobby Piper through Paul Purcell and now Steve Booth. Each of them recognized in the investment world and our communities as people of great integrity; true Servant Leaders who were driven by “clients’ interest first” and “just do the right thing.”

In recent years, I have been fortunate to attract younger professionals to form a succession team (a professional imperative at Baird) to care for my clients and their families. Providing quality Wealth Management services requires skills in investments, Financial Planning and collaboration with tax and estate planning professionals. I have proven that a single Financial Advisor cannot do that alone. I can assure you that my succession team is committed to continuously improving Baird’s service to you. You may have already met the members of the group as I have been introducing them in recent years. Their “stories” are attached. Peter Jandric (Chartered Financial Analyst), Ryan Antkowiak (Certified Financial Planner), Lynn Kittelson (Sr. Client Specialist) and Carrie Berard (Investment and Planning Strategist) will continue to develop Baird’s relationship with you, serving from both our Saint Paul and Edina offices. I have complete confidence in this group and will be engaging them to manage my family’s wealth when I join you as a Baird client.

I will not disappear after December 31 as I am committed to being “of Counsel” for the following two years for client meetings and to provide relational background and support.

I will continue to live in the East Metro and be part of the community while spending more time with Cathy, enjoying travel, reading, golf, family, and friends. I have been blessed (cursed?) with the “need to know more” gene, a wonderful spouse and family, good health, and strong faith community. For me, learning is living.

Being trusted with the role of money in your life has been humbling and gratifying for me. I thank you sincerely.

Sincerely,

Jerry Brennan, CIMA®
